Fall Breakout Session at The MAX
October 11 @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
In partnership with Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience, the Mississippi Theatre Association would like to formally invite you to be a part of our 2025 Fall Breakout Session this October.
The Voice, Dance & Acting workshops will be held on October 11th, from 1:00-5:00 pm at The MAX in Meridian, MS. The workshops will be conducted on a rotating schedule geared towards high school students, with groups moving to different activities throughout the four hours.
Instructors and corresponding sessions would be as follows:
- Dr. Kristen Gunn and Abby Miller, Vocal Masterclass.
- Carol Merril, Dance.
- Randy Ferino, Acting and Scene Work
- Rachel-Kate Thaggard, Acting and Scene Work
Upon registration, students will be asked to upload their own musical and scene material to choose from. They can bring physical copies to the event. Instructors are also bringing their own materials for students to use.
Mississippi Theatre Association is excited to bring educational, accessible, and insightful theatrical training to students in the Meridian Area, and we sincerely hope you will join us in cultivating this program.
Registration begins September 1, 2025.
Deadline for registration is October 6, 2025.
