Sponsors
The Mississippi Theatre Association seeks sponsors to support MTA’s annual festival and events of the festival. These events include sponsoring the Theatre for Youth Festival, Secondary Festival, Community Theatre Festival, Individual Events, College and university Auditions, 10-Minute Devised Theatre Festival, Playwriting Festivals, Networking Socials, Awards, Educators Events, Workshops, Keynote Addresses, Master Classes, and more.
MTA also seeks sponsors for ongoing programming throughout the year. This includes programming for our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, expanding our Theatre for Youth offerings, and workshops for students and teachers.
Sponsors can make one-time or annual donations. Advantages of becoming a sponsor include promotions on MTA online media, event tickets, connections with impacted individuals, etc.

MTA FESTIVAL SPONSORSHIPS
Secondary One-Act Festival Sponsorship
Your sponsorship will support the Secondary One Act Festival. This includes expenses related to awards, adjudicator travel, and venue.
Community Theatre One-Act Festival Sponsorship
Your sponsorship will support the Community Theater One Act Festival. This includes expenses related to awards, adjudicator travel, and venue.
Theatre for Youth Festival Sponsorship
Your sponsorship will support the Theatre for Youth Festival. This includes expenses related to awards, adjudicator travel, and venue.
Playwriting Festival Sponsorship
Your sponsorship will assist with costs for the Playwriting Festivals. This includes expenses related to awards and travel for adjudicators and winners.
MTA GRANT & SCHOLARSHIP SPONSORSHIPS
Waymaker Grant
As part of MTA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiative, the Waymaker Grant provides MTA membership, including full MTA Festival 2025 passes, for up to 12 theatre-makers with diverse talents and backgrounds who meet qualifying criteria.
New Horizons Secondary Grant
Your sponsorship sends a school (new to MTA within the past 5 years) to MTA 2025. Up to 10 students and 2 teacher memberships for participation in the Secondary Festival.
New Horizons Theatre for Youth Grant
Your sponsorship sends a school (new to MTA within the past 5 years) to participate in the Theatre for Youth Festival.
MTA Scholarship
Your sponsorship provides a $500 scholarship to one high school senior who plans to pursue theatre at a Mississippi college or university.
MTA SOCIAL SPONSORSHIPS
Youth Social Sponsorship
Your sponsorship hosts the Youth Social on Saturday night at MTA 2025.
Adult Social Sponsorship
Your sponsorship hosts the adult social on Saturday night of MTA 2025.
